Stock Music track: The Allies and The Axis

By Lessons

This hardcore metal track fades in with a high-end dissonant guitar riff that then builds in to a vocal chant. The song carries a very up tempo feel throughout most of the song. Lyrical content is all about self-reflection. There are 2 sides of us, the positive and the negative, the good and the bad, the allies and the axis. Available as a vocal version and an instrumental version.

Lyrics: Step up look me in the eyes!
I will never compromise X2

All you ever say is Im done with who i am
Whats inside of you?
Im dying to know, whats inside of you?

You want to see this change?
Then open your heart, open your mind
And fear yourself
Agony and defeat from the words you say
Mark my words!

I see life, I see death
But its all the same in silence
This is an emergency!
Oh, throw me out to sea
Its the only way I'm truly free
I am truly free!

I get what I deserve! X2
Step up look me in the eyes

About the Artist
Lessons Lessons

Hailing from the frozen north known as Minnesota, Lessons are a heavy hitting, melodically driven metal-core band whose passion, as well as ferocity comes forth every time they take the stage. Formed in early 2012, the band released their first EP "Five Points" of that same year. With one EP under their belt, they used the next year to establish themselves as a live act. Throughout 2013 Lessons built their roster of shows, including playing festivals like Sonshine and Audiofeed. After a productive summer they took the fall of 2013 to write and record their second EP "American Ghosts." With the new release closely approaching, Lessons hope to secure their place among their heavy music peers.

"One of the most compelling metal-core cuts I've heard this year" -HM Magazine
