Stock Music track: Diamond Skulls

By Lessons

This track is really guitar driven, that give it a huge intense sound. Would work well in any footage that has intense scenes.

Lyrics: You are watchmen with fists encased in gold and your hearts are filled with fear
So stand up, stand up, and stand your watch
You are the only thing between me and death

Voodoo in your way, tied to my soul
Raising up everlasting bravery; destruction, desolation
You've shattered your ties from the future of earth, like a sledgehammer through an already broken bone

When you're six feet under, six feet down, all that's left is your diamond skulls
And as you're blind with greed, you burn with hate
Why lead with hate
These things won't last

Perfect your life
Forget your death
Your angels fall down
Throw it all away for fame and scar
Watch your diamonds burn and turn to ash

The earth shakes under our feet as we march on
We act out as an era of disgust
We arise as an atomic bomb to your tongue
Because a herd of oxen has nothing on the butcher

My soul isn't tied to this set of bones inside my chest
Diamonds are nothing more then dirt
The things you care for don't care for you
Make time and take time to seek what you value

About the Artist
Lessons Lessons

Hailing from the frozen north known as Minnesota, Lessons are a heavy hitting, melodically driven metal-core band whose passion, as well as ferocity comes forth every time they take the stage. Formed in early 2012, the band released their first EP "Five Points" of that same year. With one EP under their belt, they used the next year to establish themselves as a live act. Throughout 2013 Lessons built their roster of shows, including playing festivals like Sonshine and Audiofeed. After a productive summer they took the fall of 2013 to write and record their second EP "American Ghosts." With the new release closely approaching, Lessons hope to secure their place among their heavy music peers.

"One of the most compelling metal-core cuts I've heard this year" -HM Magazine
