| Lyrics: | For many years I’ve wandered alone Traveling down an unfamiliar road Seasons passed like a runaway train Took me to another time and place Where I learned I could let somebody in When I was lost, I finally found a friend Reachin’ out for a helping hand until I see It feels like home When you’re here with me There were days I was drowning in the past Then I saw you and I never looked back You faced the walls, high around my heart With just one kiss you tore them apart And I learned I could let somebody in When I was lost, I finally found a friend Reachin’ out for a helping hand until I see It feels like home When you’re here with me Ooooh oooh oooh Against all odds, you stood by me Planted the roots of that family tree It took some courage, and a little bit o’ faith But we made it to better days Cause I learned I could let somebody in When I was lost, I finally found a friend Reachin’ out for a helping hand until I see It feels like home When you’re here with me It feels like home When you’re here with me |

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
