| Lyrics: | VERSE I don’t wanna’ say that I’ve been staying up and goin’ out past three But you’re still on my mind, it’s so confusing like a blackout memory PRE 1 So I’ll take another shot, don’t wanna let ‘em ‘in I just wanna stop all of these feelings Flip the cup so I can keep my buzz CHORUS And I’m playing all these drinking games Just to forget your name But when it ends, it’s all just the same These drinking games tell me I’m not okay It’s all in fun until it’s just too late POST-CHORUS I don’t wanna play I don’t wanna play These drinking games Drinking games VERSE Just the other day I thought I heard you but I must be going crazy All my friends are worried ‘bout me, I just tell ‘em I’ve been doing therapy PRE 2 So I’ll take another shot, don’t wanna let em in I don’t wanna stop all (of) these feelings Sip it in so I can drown you out REPEAT CHORUS/POST-CHORUS BRIDGE But the buzz it keeps me warm Like how it felt inside your arms I don’t wanna come down (but) I gotta stop this now REPEAT CHORUS/POST-CHORUS |

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
