Lyrics: Bits and pieces of scattered memories
Sit on your shelf broken
Pictures of your love
Hidden behind a blanket of time

We hide, we hide
We bury our hearts so they can’t be found
We hide, we hide
Building up walls not tearing them down
We try to not care, but there’s someone out there/no one out there
We hide, we hide.

Wake up, sunlight, you want to stay in bed
Seem so afraid to take that first step
You think that you’re the only one to ever feel this pain
You can’t show all the hurt that’s trapped inside

We hide, we hide
We bury our hearts so they can’t be found
We hide, we hide
Building up walls not tearing them down
We try to not care, but there’s someone out there/no one out there

We waste our time on these goodbyes
We waste our time on all of these lies
We waste our lies because we hide

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
