Lyrics: Summertime
Tank top, cut offs, trippin on your flipflops
Hit the beach with all your friends

White sand
Sunshine, tan lines, two piece, lookin fine
Cool breeze on your skin

Seemed those times would never end
I want to feel that way again

When you’re only 17 you think it's gonna last
Then you find out it goes by so fast
Those endless summer days

That first kiss is something to remember
Next thing you know here comes September

Life goes floatin by
Like Junebugs in July

Memories
Late nights, moonlight, holding you so tight
All the times that we spent (or good times that we spent)

Your Chevrolet
Cruisin' round, leavin' town, parkin' with the top down
We lost our innocence

Seemed those times would never end
I want to feel that way again

Repeat Chorus

That first love
Faded fast
Like sweet summertime

Repeat Chorus

Dave Tough shares his namesake with the famous jazz drummer (Tough's great uncle) who played with the likes of Woody Herman, Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey.

Said Dave: "I enjoy making a living making music as there is something always new to learn. If you know one instrument, you can learn another. If you know how to engineer one style, you can always learn another. My main question I ask myself when writing and making music is "what gives you goosebumps". The mechanics of songwriting and engineering can get quite technical, however at the end of the day its what makes you feel something."
