Lyrics: I was short on money so I took a ride
The greyhound bus was all that I could find to get me out of this town where I don’t feel right
The wheels keep turning and the engine roars
How long do I have to sit here for?
I know it won’t be long before I lose my mind

I just want to see my family
There’s no other place I’d rather be
But I’m stuck on this old greyhound and it feels like I’ll never leave

My family’s waiting on the other side, but I have to sit another thousand miles alone here with my thoughts and the blue Dakota skies
I can’t take another highway sign telling me that there’s no end in sight
Just take me home, driver, just take me home

I just want to see my family
There’s no other place I’d rather be
But I’m stuck on this old greyhound and it feels like I’ll never leave

The happiness on each face and the joy and peace that there loves brings
I know that they’ll be waiting at the end, but I’ll have to wait ‘til I get there

I just want to see my family
There’s no other place I’d rather be
But I’m stuck on this old greyhound and it feels like I’ll never leave

About the Artist
Josh Clutter Josh Clutter

I won't sit here and try to tell you about all the good that I have done. The truth is that I am just another human being, lost in this big world that we live in, and I am searching for my purpose.

I really do believe that I have a purpose. I've always had an insane desire to do something different than the average person. I told my friends in high school that I wasn't going to go to college, but instead find a band, go on tour and see the country. They told me I was crazy, and maybe I was crazy. But I did it, and I don't regret a thing.

I currently find myself on my own, with an acoustic guitar and the same crazy desire to travel and change the world. I still am a bit confused on my purpose, but I know right now that I can write songs, and some of my songs have helped other people, and that to me is worth the struggle that I've faced.

If you are a fan, family member, or friend, I want to say thank you. For some odd reason, you support what I do and you are rooting for me. We are all in this together, and I could not be where I am without you. I look forward to seeing you at a show, meeting you, and being inspired by your story. We all have a purpose and we all have the power to change people.
