Stock Music track: Something Wicked (This Way Comes)

This song is an upbeat, poppy song about a girl who climbs her way to the top by sleeping with people and manipulating others. Its about how you learn after a while that someone good will knock you off your feet, and you don't need to waste your time on girls who are bad news, covered in tattoos.

Lyrics: When you run into love, it don't tap you on the shoulder it knocks you off your feet.
Well your back must ache, from climbing your way up the ladder babe. She's not ashamed at all, that girl got famous under covers dropping names. Its a truth thats hard to swallow, not some cross to bear.
I'm just a hopeless fool with a broken smile, wearing my heart like a fashion style. That girl is just bad news, covered in tattoos. She'll lie through her teeth just to bite into something sweet.
And Im amazed, I played along until I learned your game. That's why I built these walls, so high that no one could destroy my world again. Its a truth that's hard to swallow, watch me gasp for air. When shes whispers, they all follow. It's bad enough she's fooling everyone.
What a shame you turned out to be a back stabbing small town celebrity. When your 15 is up and your fame is gone, I'm hoping someday you'll sing along.
When you run into love, it don't tap you on the shoulder it knocks you off your feet.

About the Artist
Take Cover Take Cover

Take Cover formed in the fall of 2007 and hit the ground running. After a few months of writing, they entered the studio in the spring to record with their good friend and producer Jordan Schmidt (All Time Low, Motion City Soundtrack). Their debut self-titled EP was released that September and was followed by a first tour with Minnesota natives Sing It Loud (Epitaph Records) and You, Me and Everyone We Know (Doghouse Records). The boys were honored to begin their journey as a band with such an esteemed touring package and didn't let the momentum stop there. After touring on their self-titled EP that following winter and spring of 2009, they began the writing process for their sophomore EP "The Last Word." (Also produced by Jordan Schmidt). Following a sold out hometown release show for this EP, Take Cover hit the road once more in the summer and fall of 2009 with Quietdrive (formerly Sony Records) and The Higher (Epitaph Records). Over the winter of 2009, Take Cover began putting together an acoustic EP titled "Waiting in the Moment", consisting of both old and new songs. This online release, debuting in January of 2010, gave the fans a unique look into the versatility of the band, all the while giving the band more time to write new full band songs during the winter. Take Cover released their debut full length, "The Dreamer and The Realist" (produced by Jordan Schmidt) in June of 2011, and hit the road with pop giants Every Avenue and Hit the Lights. Take Cover has also shared the stage with such acts as The Fold, William Beckett (The Academy Is), Danny Stevens (The Audition), Jamestown Story, Reel Big Fish and The Graduate. Take Cover parted ways in April 2012 to a sold out crowd and have since started new projects.
