Stock Music track: The Leaves Will Change

This is a very delicate piano love song about meeting someone in the summer and falling in love. Its about getting excited for the future and feeling very lucky to have stumbled into something so amazing. Its about never wanting the summer to end, and having someone who is all yours. Its about trusting your gut and putting your faith into a love that can in fact be true.

Lyrics: You wrapped your fingers up in mine.
I remember sitting by your side,
while we waiting on your porch for your friends
to join us for a drink or two.
And our laughter filled the air,
everyone we cared about was there.
So I thought what better time to share this feeling
and I turned to you and said.
"I don't think I'm ready for the leaves to change,
cuz I met you in the summer so please don't blow away.
When the wind picks up and it's colder everyday."
Oh, little do you know....
Oh Because you're all mine,
You've got me dreaming a future with your beautiful eyes,
I'd do whatever they told me to.
I won't waste time when it comes to you,
because no one makes me feel like you do.
You make it easy girl.
Baby I've been waiting for my luck to change
and the moment that I saw you well it all just feel in place.
When the wind picks up, I will be there in every way.
And when push comes to shove it's the two of us,
just give me time and I'll prove it to you.
You'll see we've got nothing to lose.
Because you're all mine,
You've got me dreaming a future with your beautiful eyes,
I'd do whatever they told me to.
I won't waste time when it comes to you
f it's never enough to simply follow your gut,
won't you take a chance and put some faith in me?
Won't you take a chance?
'Cause you're all mine,
You've got me dreaming a future with your beautiful eyes,
I'd do whatever they told me to.
I won't waste time when it comes to you
When it comes to you
When it comes to you
I won't waste time when it comes to you
because no one makes me feel like you

About the Artist
Take Cover Take Cover

Take Cover formed in the fall of 2007 and hit the ground running. After a few months of writing, they entered the studio in the spring to record with their good friend and producer Jordan Schmidt (All Time Low, Motion City Soundtrack). Their debut self-titled EP was released that September and was followed by a first tour with Minnesota natives Sing It Loud (Epitaph Records) and You, Me and Everyone We Know (Doghouse Records). The boys were honored to begin their journey as a band with such an esteemed touring package and didn't let the momentum stop there. After touring on their self-titled EP that following winter and spring of 2009, they began the writing process for their sophomore EP "The Last Word." (Also produced by Jordan Schmidt). Following a sold out hometown release show for this EP, Take Cover hit the road once more in the summer and fall of 2009 with Quietdrive (formerly Sony Records) and The Higher (Epitaph Records). Over the winter of 2009, Take Cover began putting together an acoustic EP titled "Waiting in the Moment", consisting of both old and new songs. This online release, debuting in January of 2010, gave the fans a unique look into the versatility of the band, all the while giving the band more time to write new full band songs during the winter. Take Cover released their debut full length, "The Dreamer and The Realist" (produced by Jordan Schmidt) in June of 2011, and hit the road with pop giants Every Avenue and Hit the Lights. Take Cover has also shared the stage with such acts as The Fold, William Beckett (The Academy Is), Danny Stevens (The Audition), Jamestown Story, Reel Big Fish and The Graduate. Take Cover parted ways in April 2012 to a sold out crowd and have since started new projects.
