|Lyrics:||And when the clock strikes twelve and your lips hit his* I hope you both drop dead from your new years kiss, I'll make a resolution remind me to forget you. So on this late December evening, Make a toast and take it down. As your vision blurs and you're slurring your words, I'll just smile while you fall to the ground. Let it be known that from this moment, You've been banished from my head. So stay out of my way, I'll do the same, Don't want to see your face or hear your name. And when the clock strikes twelve and your lips hit his, I hope you both drop dead from your new years kiss, I'll make a resolution remind me to forget you. I'd rather spend my days and sleep my nights, Without the should been done and the should have done right. I'll make a resolution remind me to forget you. It's time to start moving on. When you get lonely just keep looking, There's no love left for you here. Keep running it out, Keep bringing me down, Only I know what you're really about. So stay out of my way, I'll do the same, Don't want to see your face or hear your name. Stay out of my way, And I'll do the same, Don't want to see your face or hear your name. And when the clock strikes twelve and your lips hit his, I hope you both drop dead from your new years kiss, I'll make a resolution remind me to forget you. I'd rather spend my days and sleep my nights, without the should been done and the should have done right. I'll make a resolution remind me to forget you. Now the ball drops down my heart drops through the floor. I don't want to taste your lies anymore. Can't move on, can't get over it. It's a new year all alone.|

Take Cover formed in the fall of 2007 and hit the ground running. After a few months of writing, they entered the studio in the spring to record with their good friend and producer Jordan Schmidt (All Time Low, Motion City Soundtrack). Their debut self-titled EP was released that September and was followed by a first tour with Minnesota natives Sing It Loud (Epitaph Records) and You, Me and Everyone We Know (Doghouse Records). The boys were honored to begin their journey as a band with such an esteemed touring package and didn't let the momentum stop there. After touring on their self-titled EP that following winter and spring of 2009, they began the writing process for their sophomore EP "The Last Word." (Also produced by Jordan Schmidt). Following a sold out hometown release show for this EP, Take Cover hit the road once more in the summer and fall of 2009 with Quietdrive (formerly Sony Records) and The Higher (Epitaph Records). Over the winter of 2009, Take Cover began putting together an acoustic EP titled "Waiting in the Moment", consisting of both old and new songs. This online release, debuting in January of 2010, gave the fans a unique look into the versatility of the band, all the while giving the band more time to write new full band songs during the winter. Take Cover released their debut full length, "The Dreamer and The Realist" (produced by Jordan Schmidt) in June of 2011, and hit the road with pop giants Every Avenue and Hit the Lights. Take Cover has also shared the stage with such acts as The Fold, William Beckett (The Academy Is), Danny Stevens (The Audition), Jamestown Story, Reel Big Fish and The Graduate. Take Cover parted ways in April 2012 to a sold out crowd and have since started new projects.
