Lyrics: PreChorus:
Oh I, I, I don’t know why
You try, try try, to catch me
Verse 1:
Sometimes, when I look
in the mirror, oh I see, see, see
A child, a hopeless child
Grasping onto her dream
PreChorus
I said, you’re beautiful,
I said, you’re beautiful,
I said, you’re beautiful, to me
Chorus:
Oh I, I, I
Don’t know why
You try, try, try, to catch, catch me
Oh I, I, I
Don’t know why
You try, try try, to catch, catch me
Verse 2:
Sometimes, when I listen
All I hear, hear, hear
Is the pain, the painful silence
of the tictoc,
tictoc
of time, time, time

I said, you’re beautiful,
I said, you’re beautiful,
I said, you’re beautiful, to me

Sometimes, when I reach out,
I feel the hand of a child, child, child
Who is dying, who is dying, without something to eat
