Stock Music track: Divisions

By Lessons

This metalcore track starts with an ambient wind and delayed guitars then breaks into a powerful strummed build up. Song has chugging guitar on verses and layered choruses with a gang vocal bridge. Lyrical content depicts a personal struggle against the words that have been spoken over our lives and have held us back from seeking our own personal immortality. Available as a vocal version and an instrumental version.

Lyrics: Can we choose our own fate
I wont retreat

Shield me!
Murderers of our own human race
This is getting out of hand

The devil himself
Has crawled to the earth (AND I STAND)
Against the army of the living dead

Can we choose our own fate?
Shield me!
Never say never, never again
You have forsaken me

In retribution they shall fall (They will fall)
and in the glory we will die (They will die)

The devil himself
Has crawled to the earth (AND I STAND)
Against the army of the living dead X2

We stand and fight
Together we stand and fight
And set our angels to flight and
I guess this is what it means to be
immortal!
About the Artist
Lessons Lessons

Hailing from the frozen north known as Minnesota, Lessons are a heavy hitting, melodically driven metal-core band whose passion, as well as ferocity comes forth every time they take the stage. Formed in early 2012, the band released their first EP "Five Points" of that same year. With one EP under their belt, they used the next year to establish themselves as a live act. Throughout 2013 Lessons built their roster of shows, including playing festivals like Sonshine and Audiofeed. After a productive summer they took the fall of 2013 to write and record their second EP "American Ghosts." With the new release closely approaching, Lessons hope to secure their place among their heavy music peers.
