A treasure chest of Irish & Celtic folk music, 100% live performed on traditional Irish instruments:
This collection features 12 different traditional Irish jigs, airs, barn dances, hornpipes and tunes performed live in studio, on traditional Irish instruments including Irish flute / tin whistle, Banjo, Fiddle, Guitars and Bodhran. Many were done in a "two in one" type performance, as is typical of pub bands playing in traditional Irish pubs. These tunes are fairly short, so typically they will play one tune and then go directly into the next; which is why most of these tracks have two titles each - and really, there are not 12, but 21 different Irish folk tunes represented here.
Additionally, there are various mixes available of each track; for example, a "No piano" version, or a "No banjo" version -- giving you flexibility and the freedom to choose the version you feel works best for your project.
Everything is played 100% live in studio by Irish performers and recorded and mixed in High Definition 24-bit audio.
The price of the music collection includes a license to use the music commercially and in public, as per our License.
Formats: The download is a 227 MB .zip file containing the audio tracks in true CD-quality (320-kbps) 44.1 khz MP3 files and the music loops in 44.1 khz uncompresseed WAV files. The physical disc is a DVD-ROM for PC or Mac, containing all the tracks, all the edits, versions and seamless music loops as uncompressed WAV files, both in High Definition (24-bit) and in regular CD-quality (16-bit, 44.1-khz).
