Lyrics: I light that cigarette to know she's gone
In the morning I'll regret passing her on
On that drive to work, with every song, distract me from the world
Hey, the light is green. Let's move along

I'm crawlin' around
Doin' it wrong
Slavin' away to heartless songs
She's still not gone, let's get it on
I'm gettin' off on heartbreak songs

There's not a piece of skin that sheds regret
Besides my damage done that she won't forget
But still I do it wrong, lie through my teeth
I need to hide away from all your love, your stupid fear

It snapped in half on your heartbreak
Down the veins, through the thick of the muscle to the brain
I give up
