Lyrics: I heard a voice, it sounded just like you
But it wasn't the same, you were singing the blues
The blues

I saw your face but there's a furrow in your brow
I can always tell when you are down
You are the one who tells me “babe, we'll never part unless you act this way.”

What if I’m blue?

I can't compete with my darkest days
I'll need you to be there to shine some rays

When I’m blue

I heard a voice, it sounded just like you
But it wasn't the same
You were screaming the blues
