A cheeky and charming collection of down-to-earth Folk, Pop and Rock with an Indie sound.
"Indie" is perhaps an overused word in describing music and art these days, but we believe the origin of the term "Indie" came out of the record industry a couple of decades ago, when a handful of large music publishers dominated the entire music world and nobody could get their record into stores without going through one of these media giants. As a result, everything got "safe", bland and uninspiring, with a uniform sound.
Artists and bands who stubbornly refused to sound like all the music being released by the media giants, deliberately took on an unpolished sound and appearance, did things a bit differently and well, just sounded a bit different.
This collection contains 11 tracks of Indie Pop / Indie Rock / Folk music, often with a pretty simple, down-to-earth sound.
Every track comes in various edits, stingers, seamless loops, underscore versions, etc. -- giving you great options when editing the music to your media, be it a film, video, game, presentation etc. All in all there are no less than 157 different music files (from 11 different main compositions).
The price of the music collection includes a license to use the music commercially and in public, as per our License.
Formats: The download is a 444 MB .zip file containing the non-looping tracks in true CD-quality (320-kbps) 44.1 khz MP3 files, and the seamless loops in WAV files at 16-bit 44.1-khz. The physical disc is a DVD-ROM for PC or Mac, containing all the tracks, all the edits, versions and seamless music loops as uncompressed WAV files in both High Definition (24-bit) audio, and also as CD-quality (16-bit, 44.1-khz). Total ~4 GB.
Please note that the DVDROM is a disc for use in PC or Mac computers, with computer files on it. It is not an Audio-CD, and does not work in a stereo/hi-fi system, your car CD player etc. However, you can copy the WAV files to your hard drive, and then use those WAV files to burn an Audio-CD in your own CD/DVD-burner.
This product contains music that is PRO-registered. (What's this?)
