A collection of 12 tracks going back to the 1980's and 1990's video game culture!
Many of us grew up playing games on our Sega, Nintendo, Atari, Amiga and coin-up games in arcade halls. The music on this collection combines the moods and sounds of those games with modern elements, to create a clever, fun and colourful collection of synth-pop music with a Retro feel.
Some of the tracks on this collection (12th Warrior, Hotwired, Hotfix, Hotseat, Hotzone) were *actually* composed and produced using the 8-bit audio chip in an Amiga 500 computer back in the late 80's / early 90's. The other 7 tracks were produced in 2013, but capturing the same moods and using some similar sounds, in combination with modern sounds.
This music collection is a treasure chest of Video Game flavoured music, suitable for Retro projects, comedy and slapstick projects, cool and chic contemporary projects that need an attention grabbing soundtrack, or - of course - modern day mobile games, Flash games etc.
The price of the music collection includes a license to use the music commercially and in public, as per our License.
Formats: The download is a 310 MB .zip file containing the full tracks in true CD-quality MP3 files (320-kbps, 44.1 khz) and the additional seamless music loops in WAV files (16-bit, 44.1khz). The physical disc is a DVDROM for PC or Mac, containing all tracks and loops as uncompressed WAV files at 16-bit, 44.1.khz, and 7 of the tracks also in High Definition, 24-bit WAV files. (Total ~2 GB).
Please note that the DVDROM is a disc for use in PC or Mac computers, with computer files on it. It is not an Audio-CD, and does not work in a stereo/hi-fi system, your car CD player etc. However, you can copy the WAV files to your hard drive, and then use those WAV files to burn an Audio-CD in your own CD/DVD-burner.
