These deeply groovy and edgy tracks combine elements of beauty and spacial atmospheres, with hard beats, often played at "half time" (e.g. a tempo of 140 BPM but it 'feels' like 70 BPM because of the way the beats are arranged). This gives the music a 'heavy', robotic and mechanical feel which creates interesting and challenging interplay with the grand, cosmic and sometimes fragile chords and pads.
