A Minor Ska
Ska is a form of Jamaican music which began in the early 1960s. Combining elements of traditional mento and calypso with an American jazz and rhythm and blues sound, it was a precursor in Jamaica to rocksteady and later reggae. It is the predominant form of music listened to by Rudeboys, Mods, and Skinheads, amongst others, with artists such as Symarip, Laurel Aitken, The Charmers and The Pioneers aiming songs at these groups as far back as the 1960s. We had trouble figuring out the best genre in which to place this highly unusual sounding, slightly avant-garde music track featuring a growing, high-tech beat overlaid with complex vocal harmonies. Broken Dream
A slowly swaying, downtempo track somewhere between pop, chill-out and ambient. Hyperdrive Stimuli
Very sci-fi oriented electro-rock piece that we had trouble finding the right category for. We would probably call it ´Electronic Space-Rock´, featuring sputtering, arpeggiating analogue synthesizers, space echoes, weird spacey sounds, thumping bass lines and an occasional, rock induced, driving guitar riff.
