15, 2008:
Paypal are experiencing a problem with IPN
(Instant Payment Notification) server, which is causing delays to
the processing of orders, for all shops that sell downloadable products
through Paypal, world wide. IPN signals are delayed by 3-4 hours coming
out of Paypal's server. This is causing a delay to orders being confirmed
as "paid" and a subsequent delay to download information
being sent to customers. Orders are only delayed, not lost. Download
information will be sent to you by email -- this
happens automatically and instantly when the IPN signal comes out
of Paypal's server. In the meantime, if you are in a hurry, we can
try our best send you your file(s) manually. Contact us at the below
email address.
The delay does not affect orders placed and
paid for via Worldpay -- only Paypal.
