Philipp Friedrich Boddecker
August 5, 1607 - October 8, 1683
Philipp Friedrich Boddecker was a German bassoonist and organist of the Baroque era. He wrote a range of pieces, including sonatas, concertos, and church pieces.
He was known for using his compositional style to express the meaning of the source text. He also varied rhythm, as well as harmonic techniques in his pieces. His oeuvre is an example of the first sonatas in Germany.
