The Riddle Song
A charming, traditional Irish lullaby, tastefully performed on two acoustic guitars, Irish flute (penny whistle) and subtle electric piano. Kind, gentle and sweet. This is a traditional Irish folk melody, but not at all limited to Ireland or Irish projects. We also have a version where the main melody is played on a regular Orchestral flute instead of the Irish whistle. The Jolly Beggar
A real Irish Party track. Traditional Irish drinking song from many an Irish pub. Upbeat, happy, dancing party mood. Irish whistle, fiddle, dobro, accordion, guitars and a rhythm section consisting of Bodhran, spoons, hand claps and tamborine. Jolly and swinging, with an authentic Irish sound. The dobro solo in the middle gives the track a slight Country twang, so we also have a version without the dobro, in case this fits better with your production. Scarborough Fair
A gentle, warm and very Irish sounding arrangement of this traditional Celtic / English ballad. Irish flute, acoustic guitar, soft strings. Romantic, homely, wistful, nostalgic and a very beautiful melody that everybody knows and loves. We have two different versions; one with a high pitched Irish highland flute (Penny whistle, Tin whistle), and another version with a lower Irish flute (Recorder). A timeless classic track which also works great as a lullaby. Lovely Leitrim
An appealing, homely, Irish traditional song which conjures images of beautiful Irish shores and the dearly loved green fields of Ireland. This contemporary version has been produced with Bodhran, Irish whistle, acoustic guitar, bass and drums. We've also made available a version where the main lead is played on a regular orchestral flute, because although the Penny Whistle is beautiful and quintessentially Irish, the orchestral flute has a softer sound which could be better suited in some media projects. Also available is an Underscore version, which means all lead/solo instruments are removed, leaving only the background music -- great for singing along. [Trad./Arr: B. In Dublins Fair City (aka Cockles and Mussels, aka Molly Malone)
"In Dublins Fair City" is a traditional Irish pub song that goes by various different names, including "Cockles and Mussels" and "Molly Malone". Telling the story of Molly Malone, this lively and charming Irish track has been sung in many an Irish pub over the decades, even centuries. Featuring accordion, violin, Irish flute (tin whistle / penny whistle), piano and acoustic guitars. Starts rather slowly and then increases the tempo slightly for each new verse - ending up considerably faster than it started. A great, foot stomping, Irish traditional drinking song. Amazing Grace (Arr: B Lynne)
A very tasteful and delicate version of the traditional Irish classic, Amazing Grace. There are numerous verses throughout, each with a slightly different arrangement, giving this track a nice, subtle variation throughout. Acoustic guitar, Irish flute / penny whistle, piano. In the fourth verse, a graceful, gentle piano solo plays on subtle humming choir, almost gospel like. An Underscore version is also available (without lead instruments, great for singing along).
