is available in high definition 24-bit audio
- Where the version name says (wav24) it means the download is a
.zip file containing two wav files: One file at High Definition 24-bit audio,
and one file downgraded to normal CD-quality (16-bit, 44.1 khz).
- You will only see the HD logo (by which we mean 24-bit sound) on music that
was recorded, mixed and mastered in 24-bit. We never "upsample"
16-bit material to 24-bit.
- If you see only one version available as 24-bit (wav24) and the other versions
only available at CD-quality (wav), it usually means that the composer originally
sent us a 16-bit file, which we used when we created the other versions (60-secs,
30-secs, loops). The composer has later us a 24-bit file but we have not edited
the 60-secs, 30-secs, loops versions again. For this reason, the 60/30/loops
may be available only in 16-bit while the main/full version is available in
24-bit.
